The Secretary of Defence declared open the renovated KDU Club House and the new VIP Room in the complex on 10th March 2021. Located alongside the Kandawala Lake enriched by a surrounding of fascinating fauna and flora, the KDU Club House provides visitors with a panoramic view of nature in the suburb of Ratmalana. This facility has been established with the prime objective of facilitating the tri-service and police personnel and academic and non-academic staff of KDU with food and beverage in pleasant surroundings. In addition, this facility will also be open for foreign students and others, who visit KDU.
