Defence Advisor to the High Commission of Maldives visits KDU to meet Foreign Officer Cadets of Maldives

The Defence Advisor to the High Commission of Maldives Col Hassan Amir visited General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 16 January 2023 to meet the Foreign Officer Cadets of Maldives.

Col Hassan Amir first met the Vice Chancellor of KDU, Major General MP Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil (Ind), and had a pleasant discussion on matters of mutual interest. Then, he went to the Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies (FDSS) and met four Foreign Officer Cadets of Maldives in the conference hall of FDSS.

Foreign Officer Cadets of Maldives were first enlisted to the KDU in 2001 for Intake 18. Many Officer Cadets from Maldives were enlisted to the KDU since then. Currently, KDU hosts a number of Officer Cadets from the Maldives.
