The First Official Visit of the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera to KDU

Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, RSP **, USP, ndu, psc, the new Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy paid his first official visit to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 16^th February 2023, and he was warmly welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil.

Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera was appointed as the 25th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy on 18th December 2022, after being elevated to the rank of three-star Admiral, and KDU hails his accomplishment as the first KDU graduated officer to rise to the high office of a Commander of an Armed Force in Sri Lanka.
