KDU Powerlifting Team Emerged As the 2nd Place of All Island Shakthi Bench Press National Tournament 2023.

All Island Shakthi Bench Press National Tournament-2023 organized by Shakthi Sports Club was held at Maithree Hall, Bandaragama on 25^th February 2023. Along with the KDU’s powerlifting team, other universities, Tri-Forces, and sports and recreation clubs from all over the country participated in the tournament. KDU’s powerlifting team brought honour to the university by winning three gold medals, two silver medals, and six bronze medals. KDU won overall second place in the tournament.
