“Biomedical හතේපැදුර”
“Biomedical හතේපැදුර”, a musical event hosted by the Biomedical Engineering Society of Kotelawala Defence University, was successfully held on the 7th floor of the Faculty of Engineering building at 7.00 pm on 28th March 2023. Vice Chancellor of KDU, Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil graced the event as Chief Guest. Deans of Faculties, Directors, Department Heads, academic staff, Senior Military Officers and more than 350 students attended the ceremony. The theme for the event was “Love” and the songs were chosen to describe many sorts of love that an individual experiences in various times of their life.
The Vice Chancellor of KDU, Major General Milinda Peiris was impressed with the art and music abilities of the engineering students and appreciated the organizing committee of the KDU Biomedical Engineering Society.
“Biomedical හතේපැදුර” was primarily intended to enhance the bond between students and to showcase their talents. The gathering also served as a time to de-stress from lectures and homework. The event was organized under the guidance of The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the Head of the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Telecommunication Engineering, and academic staff of the Biomedical Engineering program.
