TechnoWiz Club of the Faculty of Technology Holds its Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the TechnoWiz club was held on 29^th March 2023, at a ceremony organized by the students of the Faculty of Technology. The TechnoWiz Club, the faculty’s largest student club, encourages personal development, leadership, and learning among students.

The president of the TechnoWiz club welcomed Dr. Prasanna Premadasa, Dean of the faculty together with the academic staff. The secretary tabled the minutes of the inaugural AGM of the club and presented the activities carried out during the past year. The new office bearers for 2023 were elected from both intakes 39 and 40.

Addressing the AGM, the Dean thanked the office bearers of the previous year and stated that the students should engage in club activities to improve their professional skillset and should also understand their social responsibility as a technologist. The Dean further stated that the club provides a platform for organizing a variety of events and that he believed many activities will be conducted this year.

All the students of the faculty and the academic staff including the two HODs attended the meeting.
