Ms. ADK Imali joined the University system in September 2014 as the Assistant Bursar-Accounts of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. Her key responsibility is the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements and she is responsible to the bursar. Also, she is responsible for liaising with internal and external audits in relation to accounting matters. Further, she is supervising her subordinate staff for the proper maintenance of ledger accounts and the preparation of bank reconciliations.

She is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and she also possesses BBA Accounting (Special) Degree from University of Colombo – Sri Lanka.

Before she joined the University, she worked as a senior officer in various private sector companies and gained experience relating to both finance and auditing.
