The Department Industry Consultative Board (DICB) meeting 2022 was successfully held on 31st March 2022 at the Conference Hall, Faculty of Graduate Studies, with the participation of representatives from the following leading companies in the Marine Engineering Industry.

The conference’s purpose was to obtain valuable suggestions to enhance the quality of existing teaching modules to match the industrial needs. The discussion was very fruitful and a number of valuable inputs were received to update teaching modules of both degree programmes, with special attention to practical training included. More importantly, this meeting opened new opportunities for our undergraduates to be involved with various industry projects and more exposure to modern software platforms used in the industry.
