The annual Career Fair 2023 was held successfully on 24th March at KDU Faculty of Graduate Studies building premises from 8 am to 5 pm. It was sponsored by the British Computer Society (BCS) and was organized by the Student Chapters of the faculty: British Computer Society (BCS), Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) & Women In Engineering affinity group (IEEE WIE), Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL) and Free & Open-Source Software (FOSS) voluntary student group, under the guidance of the Entrepreneurial Support, Industrial Training and Career Guidance Unit.
More than twenty-five renowned tech companies were present to offer internships/ permanent positions in their organizations. It was a delightful sight to see that more than 60% of students in Level 4 were able to seize the opportunity of finding from the organized career fair.
The event was not only a place for finding job opportunities, but it also served as a hub for networking with the industry. Level 3 and 2 students were able to unfold numerous career explorations and connect with experts from tech companies.
