General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of three talented Officer Cadets who participated in the highly competitive Indian Open International Karate Championship 2023 held in New Delhi, India, which took place on the 17th and 18th of June 2023. The Officer Cadets of KDU demonstrated their exceptional skills and determination, bringing honour to KDU and the Motherland. Competing alongside more than 2000 participants from five other countries, including India, Nepal, Bhutan, Iran, and Bangladesh, the KDU team showcased their prowess, securing two silver medals and one bronze medal for the nation. The following Officer Cadets brought honour to KDU and the Motherland.
