The Minister of Health Hon. Dr. Ramesh Pathirana and the State Minister of Defence, Hon. Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon, arrived on the 22^nd of November 2023, at the University Hospital, General Sir John Kothelawala Defence University (KDU), for an official visit. During the visit, a discussion was conducted with the Vice Chancellor of KDU, Rear Admiral Dammika Kumara VSV USP psc MMaritimePol BSc (DS), and the hospital management committee with regard to the improvement and development of clinical and other aspects of the UHKDU.
