Defence Advisor to the High Commission of India visits KDU

The Defence Advisor to the High Commission of India Capt. Vikas Sood and the Assistant Defence Advisor Lt. Col. Puneet Sushil visited General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) on 11^th January. Visiting officials first met the Vice Chancellor of KDU Maj. Gen. Milinda Peiris, and had a cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest. During the discussion visitors enquired the possibility of undertaking postgraduate studies in KDU for Indian officials stationed in Colombo.

Following the meeting with the Vice Chancellor, visitors were taken for a tour in KDU. During the visit, the Defence Advisor pledged support to expand KDU sports complex. In his visit to KDU main library, he also agreed to provide free online access to document repositories in India with Defence related publications.  Present on the occasion with the Vice Chancellor were the Director, International Relations, Adjutant, Deputy Registrar and the Dean, Faculty of Medicine. As a pleasant remembrance of their visit to KDU for the first time, the Defence Advisor to the High Commission of India and the Vice Chancellor exchanged mementos.
