Vice Chancellor of KDU extends a warm welcome to the British Defense Attache at KDU

Col. Paul Clayton, British Defence Attache, visited General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 6 May 2022. The purpose of his visit was to foster cooperation between the KDU and similar institutions in the United Kingdom. Following his meeting with the Vice Chancellor, he visited the General Sir John Kotelawala Museum, where he learned about the colonial ties of KDU’s benefactor. In addition, Col Paul met with the Head of the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies to discuss the possibility of delivering lectures to students enrolled in the International Relations degree program and to share his experience as a commander in Estonia.

Present on the occasion with the Vice Chancellor Major General Milinda Peiris were the Director International Relations Dr KMGP Premadasa, Dean of Engineering Eng. SU Dampage and Head of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering Wg. Cdr. UDLP Gunasinghe.
