Bilateral Meeting Between KDU and National Defence University Malaysia

A Bilateral meeting was held between KDU and the National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM) to discuss about the joint collaborative activities and preparations for ARF HDUCIM.

To further strengthen the bond between the two institutions, Vice Chancellor of KDU, Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil and a KDU delegation is planning a visit to NDUM for the MoU signing ceremony which is to be held in this year.

During the discussion, NDUM thanked KDU for the hospitality given to several of its former Vice Chancellors when they visited KDU to take part in annual international research conference. Maj Gen Milinda Peiris also extended an invitation to the incumbent NDUM VC to take part in this’ years IRC, which is to be held in September this year.

Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Services, Industry Relations, and Corporate Affairs) Dato’ Dr. Junaidah Binti Kamarruddin, Senior Director (Services, Industry Relations, and Corporate Affairs) Major General Dr. Kwong Fook Wen (Retired), Director (Center for Defense and International Security Studies (CDiSS)) Prof. Dr. Adam Leong Kok Wey, Research Fellow (Center for Defense and International Security Studies (CDiSS)) Prof. Dato Dr Jesbil Singh@Jasbir Singh Sandhu, Director Corporate Affairs Lt Col Zazali Bin Makding, Senior Assistant Registrar (Services, Industry Relations, and Corporate Affairs) Mr Mohd Amirul Zzaki Bin Razmi, and Dr Mohamad Abu Ubaidah Amir Bin Abu Zarim joined the meeting from NDUM.

The VC of KDU, DVC (Defence & Admin) Brig W Chandrasiri RSP USP psc, the Director- International Relations Dr KMGP Premadasa and the HOD- Department of Strategic Studies, Dr. Harinda Vidanage joined the meeting from KDU.
