KDU now is a validated institution by the Research Executive Agency (REA) validation services of the European Commission

General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University has been validated with the following special status(es): “LEGAL PERSON, PUBLIC, LEGAL NON PROFIT” by the Research Executive Agency (REA) validation services of the European Commission. Academics and researchers in KDU now can join any consortium and apply for European funding. Accordingly, KDU academics can now submit proposals for European funding programmes such as ERASMUS+, ERASMUS mundus, Horizon Europe.
