KDU signs an MOU with JF Oberlin University

On August 30, 2022, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) and JF Oberlin University of Japan signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate.

The objective of this Memorandum of Understanding is to provide a general framework for cooperation between two Universities. Both institutions intend to participate in student exchange programmes, joint research projects, and the exchange of educational and academic materials.

The MOU was made possible by Dr. Hemantha Premarathna of the Faculty of Management Social Sciences and Humanities’ productive cooperation with Oberlin University scholars. He will also serve as the leader of a KDU group to Oberlin University in September.

After signing the MOU, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of implementing the MOU to the fullest and maintaining a firm collaboration.
