Supply and Catering Section
Supply and catering section is a part of Officer Commanding Logistic Service. This section is responsible for the maintaining of supply store, maintaining of cook house in KDU, providing meals for livening officers in KDU. LT/CDR Batagoda is the head of the catering and supply section. He works as the Catering Supply Officer in KDU. There are main three sub sections are coming under the Catering Supply Officer. They are, Ration Supply Section, Catering Section, and Accounts Section. Many companies providing necessary goods for this section.

Procurement Section
Procurement section produce basic needs of officer cadets such as uniforms, weapons, shoes, and electrical items (like laptops, TVs). They put those details to the ledgers. Normally OCLS will give the requirements to procurement and they call procurements from at least three companies and considering all requirements and collect samples. Inspections is done by procurement committee members. Decisions are taken from them. Then, according to the decision of committee members, procurement section will buy goods and finally they handover it to the OCLS. Procurement section gathered information by, RQ – Regimental Quarter Master QM – Quarter Master / Logistic Officer

Motor Transport Section
Main role of this section is providing day today transportation of KDU. Officer incharge of this section is Lt Cdr Dayananda. He and his staff should provide the transport facilities to responsible officers in time without any disturbances. Therefore all the vehicles should be maintained well and they should be in a good running condition at any time. This section has following numbers of drivers and vehicles.

Three wheelers – 4
Bikes – 8
Van – 1

Logistics
Logistic services section is handles all the supply and logistic tasks within university premises. This section responsible for providing all the basic facilities of officer cadets, tender calling, and most of the documentation tasks regarding to the tender calling in OCLS.

University Service Sruadron also comes under ESS. There are two sections in ESS.ESS Project Section Maintainance Section

Audit Section
This is an independent section. Main activity of this unit is checking of the effectiveness, efficiency and economical (3E’S)way of running of all other programmes. Decision making of unutilize buildings and vehicles is another valuable activity of this unit. All the rules and regulations for the KDU is prepared by this unit and follow up all these rules and regulations.
