The Vice Chancellor of KDU meets a representative from Western Sydney University, Australia (WSU) on Wednesday the 26th. Western Sydney University is a world-class university with a growing international reach and reputation for academic excellence and impact-driven research and ranked 494th in the QS university rankings in the world.

Both institutions have had discussions to sign a student articulation agreement, where students from KDU are able to undertake the last two years of their undergraduate studies at WSU leading to WSU qualification. As part of the negotiation process, a representative from WSU visited KDU and met the Vice Chancellor and other academics. During the discussion, both universities agreed to share best practices towards achieving SDGs. KDU is keen on understanding how to integrate Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) within its pedagogy, research, and legislation.

The Vice-Chancellor was joined by the Dean of Built Environment and Spatial Sciences, Dean of Engineering, HOD Civil Engineering and the Director of International Relations. Following the meeting, a group of students from FBESS also had the opportunity to speak to the representatives.
