An awareness session for the KDU community was held under the patronage of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Defenec & Administration) Brig. Vipula Chandrasiri about the responsible and sustainable use of water on all campuses. The session was held in the KDU auditorium on Monday,  January 3, following the commencement of work for the new year 2022. The session covered multiple aspects, including understanding the importance of conservation, effective methods of reuse, and outlining strategies to reduce water usage on campus. Participants were shown practical examples of wasteful practices and encouraged to practice mindful usage. The faculty, administrative staff, academic support, and minor grade staff took part in the session. The DVC (Defence & Administration) wrapped up the session with powerful closing remarks, aptly setting the stage for KDU's ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability in 2022.
