MOU with Unilever Sri Lanka Limited

General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) signed an MOU with Unilever Sri Lanka Limited with the objectives of recruiting interns from KDU. Unilever Sri Lanka Limited is a multinational company engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing fast moving consumer goods.

The MoU was signed by the Vice Chancellor of KDU Major General Milinda Peiris, Ms. Ananya Sabharwal, Director of Human Resources and Mr  Niroshan Jayasuriya,  National Finance Director signed the MOU from Unilever Sri Lanka Limited. Event was held on the 30th August 2022 on hybrid mode at KDU. Unilever Sri Lanka Limited agrees to share vacancies in undergraduates of the KDU in different areas including Supply Chain, Management, Management and Technical Science, Engineering, Information Technology, and Human Resources.

Ms. Keshavi Puswewala, Senior HRBP Corporate Functions & T&O & Employer Brand Lead – SL,  Ms. Anjalie Jayathunga, HR Strategy Lead, Ms.  Tehanee Harris and Ms. Shehani Fernando, Wathsunu Jayathilake (SPARKS Ambassador from KDU) participated representing Unilever Sri Lanka Limited.

Mr. V.D. Kithsiri, Registrar, Dr. Namali Sirisoma, Director, Career Guidance Unit, Dr. Kalapana Ambepitiya, Career Guidance Advisor of FMSH and Major RMM Pradeep Career Guidance Advisor of Faculty of Computing participated representing KDU.
