MOU with Verité Research Pvt. Ltd

General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) signed an MOU with Verité Research Pvt. Ltd with the objectives of recruiting inters from faculties of Management Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies. Verité Research Pvt. Ltd is a private think tank that provides strategic analysis for Asia. Its main research divisions are economics, politics, law and media.

The MOU was signed by the Vice Chancellor of KDU Major General Milinda Peiris and the Executive Director of Verité Research Pvt. Ltd Mr. Nishan de Mel on 26 August 2022 in a ceremony organized in hybrid mode at KDU. Verité Research Pvt. Ltd agrees to share vacancies in internship and postgraduate recruitments to be circulated amongst the KDU undergraduates and alumni.

Ms. Cilani Wijesinghe, the Director Finance, Ms.  Nirasha Jayathilake, Head of Human resources and Mr. Shanaka Kulathunge, Assistant Manager HR and Administration participated representing Verité Research Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. V.D Kithsiri, Registrar, Dr. Namali Sirisoma, Director Career Guidance Unit and Dr. Kalpana Ambepitiya, Career Guidance Advisor of Faculty of Management Social Sciences and Humanities participated the event representing KDU.
