At twilight on the 24^th of February, the undergraduates of Intake 39 IT/IS of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University-Southern Campus performed ‘Padura 2023’ -an entertaining musical theatre dance flaunting the vibrant Sri Lankan culture for the seventh consecutive year. This was a flashy night full of entertainment events, some of which demonstrated a literary interest. The event’s principal guest was Major General LCR Jayasooriya RSP ndc psc. All the students, academic, administrative, and nonacademic of the Southern Campus were there to witness the flashy night full of entertainment events. Commander Kamila Perera performed a literature appreciation of the songs sung during the event. It was a night to remember beneath the Southern sky.
