General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University has eleven faculties and offers nearly 50 undergraduate degree programmes, in addition to offering nearly 50 undergraduate degree programmes by 11 faculties, Centre for IT Support & Development Services of KDU is conducts certificate-level and diploma-level IT courses to improve computer literacy among Officers/ Other Rankers in Tri-Services and civilians.

The Certificate Award Ceremony of Diploma in Information Technology Course No.21 conducted by the Centre for IT Support & Development Services of KDU was held on 10th November 2023 at the Faculty of Graduate Studies KDU. Thirty-two students have completed the programme.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Defence and Administration) Brigadier DCA Wickramasinghe USP USACGSC graced the occasion as the chief guest and awarded certificates to participants, the Centre for IT Support and Development Services Director, Col MTC De Silva psc was also present.
