Faculty of Medicine, KDU secured 3rd place at the inter-medical faculty quiz competition held for WAAW 2023

World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) falls from 18^th – 24^th November each year. Students from Faculty of Medicine, at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University won the 3^rd place at the inter-medical faculty quiz on Anti-Microbial Resistance held on 15^th November 2023.

This event was organized by the Sri Lanka College of Microbiologists with collaborations from Ministry of Health and World Health Organization.

O/Cdt MDR Lakshitha (Intake 37), Ms RSSP Kachchakaduge (Intake 37), Ms FFA Hamid (Intake 37), O/Cdt VDR Matharaarachchi (Intake 38), Ms UAS Ryhan (Intake 38) participated for the quiz.

They were awarded certificates and prizes at the WAAW 2023 national event held at Waters Edge on 22^nd November 2023.
