The foundation stone laying ceremony for the new female and male students’ accommodation was ceremoniously held on 5th August 2022 with the participation of the Vice Chancellor, Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil. In order to cater to the growing number of students enrolling in different degree programs, Phase 1 of the accommodation complex is expected to be completed in six months, comprising of 24 rooms with modern facilities. Rector- Southern Campus, Dean FBESS, Deputy Dean – FDSS and academic and military staff were also present at the event.
