The Quality Assurance Cell of the Library (IQAC), General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) was established in April, 2022 in accordance with the guidelines given by the Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) of KDU. IQAC has a broad mandate of coordinating all the activities related to quality assurance within the Main Library and the Branch libraries in liaison with the Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.
1. To ensure quality assurance of activities in the library for quality assurance in providing services, resources and facilities in teaching, learning and research activities of the university.
2. To serve as a strategic platform for the overall development efforts of the library.
