I have completed my Bachelor of Bio-systems Technology Honor’s in Agriculture degree from the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Technology, University of Colombo, where my undergraduate research focused on collaborative projects with the Industrial Technology Institute, Sri Lanka, in the field of Agriculture.
I am honored to be a Graduate Research Assistant within the highly esteemed microbial biotechnology research group led by Dr. Himali S. Jayasinghearachchi at KDU-CARE. Currently, I am fortunate to be engaged in an industry-collaborated project centered on the development of bio fertilizer. My academic journey and research experiences have allowed me to nurture a profound passion for microbiology, crop protection, plant pathology, agronomy, and molecular biology. This unwavering enthusiasm drives me to contribute meaningfully and play an active role in the continuous progress and development of these dynamic fields.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy playing volleyball and indulging in creative hobbies such as 3D arts and programming.
