Dr. Himali S Jayasinghearachhci had the privilege of undertaking a visiting scholarship at DUKE University in North Carolina, USA. This immersive experience spanned from August 2023 to November 2023 and focused on advancing her understanding of molecular biology workflows, particularly in the areas of RNA sequencing, MinCHip sequencing, and microRNA sequencing. The program encompassed comprehensive training in various aspects, including RNA-seq data analysis, differential gene expression analysis, gene set enrichments, pathway analysis, and gene ontology analysis. Through hands-on experimentation and exposure to cutting-edge technologies. The insights gained during this period will undoubtedly contribute to her ongoing academic pursuits and research endeavors.
