KDU-CARE has initiated a collaboration with Sethsuwa Ayurveda hospital Pvt Ltd for herbal/Ayurveda product development. Sethsuwa Ayurveda Hospital provides patients with customized traditional Ayurveda medicines. The first onsite meeting was held on the 6th of June 2022 at KDU with the participation of Dr. Sujeewa Vithanage/Managing Director Sethsuwa Ayurveda hospital and Dr. Wasantha Padmakumara/Sethsuwa Ayurveda hospital. Prof. Thushara Weerawardane /Director KDU-CARE chaired the meeting. Dr. Anchala Kuruppu, Dr. Kalpa Samarakoon, Dr. Nandana Gunawickrama and Dr. Sampath Alahakoon participated in the meeting representing KDU-CARE academic staff. Detailed discussions were made about the requirements of the industrial partner and what the KDU-CARE can offer with the available infrastructure and human resources.
