The Institute for Combinatorial Advanced Research & Education in association with the Young Scientist Forum is organizing a one-day workshop on ‘Statistical Decision Making in Experimental Research Studies,’ emphasizing the importance of statistics in analyzing and conducting research. Please register on or before 26th August 2024.

The Institute for Combinatorial Advanced Research & Education (KDU-CARE) is organizing a two-day workshop on 19th and 20th February 2024 on ‘Exploring the interconnections between plants, environment and human health’. This workshop will comprise lectures, experiments and a field visit to an Ayurveda hospital and medicinal plant garden. An expert panel will conduct the lectures and explanations. KDU-Care collaborates with Sri Lanka Association for Laboratory Animal Science (SLALAS) to give you an exciting experience to take the animal-based research in Sri Lanka to the next level.    
 
A workshop on “Genetically modified mouse models, in-vitro fertilization and therapeutic approaches to genetic diseases” will be held on 28th March 2022 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), Ratmalana. The main resource person for this workshop is Dr. Andrés Fernando Muro – Group Leader on Mouse Molecular Genetics, International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Italy.
