Dr. Anuji Gamage, Senior Lecturer in Public Health and Family Medicine, has been able to secure funding under the Australia Awards funded Small Grant Scheme 2022 for the project titled “ COVID-19 Vaccine communication project: identifying the causes and addressing the factors related to vaccine hesitancy among  12-19-year-olds”. Australia’s COVID-19 Development Response was given priority in the competitive selection process. The small grants are designed to assist proactive alumni in implementing activities contributing to development in Sri Lanka.
