Commercialization of Inventions
As per KDU’s policy on inventions and discoveries, all commercialization of university research products is supported by the KDU-CARE and CARE Technology (Pvt) ltd. This commercialization process involves the assessment of all invention disclosures to determine how best to advance each individual discovery. This may involve a form of intellectual property protection, such as patenting, and further development of the technology. Ultimately the goal is the licensing of technologies to commercial partners or the creation of a spin-off company around the technology.
