Training session on University reputation and telephone etiquette for management assistant

General Sir John Kotelawela Defence University Staff Development Centre with Sri Lanka Telecom organized a training workshop on University reputation and telephone etiquette on 11^th of November 2014 at the Medical faculty mini auditorium. Presenting a professional image, both in person and on the telephone, is very important in the Office Skills profession. Target group was mainly management assistants at General Sir John Kotelawela Defence University. In this session it was highlighted the importance of introduction about the University Reputation & Image, communication, communication modes, verbal communication, voice quality parameters, telephone etiquette and writing an effective E-mail. Resource persons namely Mrs T.G.A. Eronie, Mr. Ruwantha Bulathsinghe, Mr. G. Harischandra, Mrs. G.A.M.C. Perera and Ms. Eranga Dissanayake from Sri Lanka Telecom.
