The launching of the book titled “ජෛව වෛද්‍ය ඉංජිනේරුවරයා”

The release of the book “ජෛව වෛද්‍ය ඉංජිනේරුවරයා” by Dr Prasanna Premadasa was held on 8th July 2022. the Vice Chancellor, Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, was presented with the first copy of the book in his office. Along with the Vice Chancellor, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Defence & Administration) Brig W Chandrasiri RSP USP psc also graced the occasion. This book has been written to address the need for current, practical knowledge of biomedical engineering. This book presents facts in an easy-to-understand format. This has been written in the hope of providing children who have completed their GCE (A/L) exams and those who are studying for their A/L with a clear understanding of their future career paths. This book will also be very useful for students who are hoping to enter the university and are in the first year of the university’s engineering or technology faculties. Dr. KMGP Premadasa, who has a long history in higher education, is a senior lecturer with extensive experience as the coordinator of the Biomedical Engineering degree programme, which General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University introduced for the first time in Sri Lanka, and as the Dean of the Faculty of Technology. He has written this book based on his many years of experience working in the field.
