General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University Hosts the 457th Committee of Vice Chancellors and Directors (CVCD) Meeting

The 457^th meeting of the Committee of Vice Chancellors and Directors (CVCD) was held on 03^rd December 2022, hosted by the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. Twenty-two Vice Chancellors and Rectors of the state universities and campuses were warmly received by the Vice Chancellor of KDU in the preceding evening, and they were hosted to a dinner at the Club House of KDU. Next morning, all dignitaries participated in the CVCD meeting where important matters pertaining to the higher education sector of Sri Lanka were discussed, and after the meeting, they visited the KDU Museum as well. The following VCs, Directors and Rectors participated in the event:

Subsequent to the formal the formal discussion, Vice Chancellor-KDU briefed CVCD members about the Best Practices in the KDU and clarified a few interesting points raised by the other Vice Chancellors. Finally, Vice Chancellor-KDU presented  mementos to all the participants to mark the event and the visit to KDU.
