KDU WOMEN’S BADMINTON TEAM BECAME RUNNERS-UP IN SLIIT SHUTTLEBUDS 2022 BADMINTON TOURNAMENT

“SLIIT SUTTLEBUDS” tournament 2022 organized by the SLIIT badminton team in collaboration with the SLIIT Physical Education and Sports Unit was held from 02nd of January 2023 to 08th January 2023 at MBA Courts, Colombo 7 and SLIIT Indoor Stadium.
Under the Inter-University category, 08 teams in the women’s category and 16 teams in the men’s category competed in the tournament including men and women teams from KDU.
KDU women’s team emerged as the runners-up while the men’s team got selected to the quarter-final of the tournament.
The award ceremony was graced by the chief guest, Professor Lalith Gamage and certificates were distributed to the runners-up and the champions team.
