National Security Conclave 2023
National Security Conclave 2023 organized jointly by Ministry of Defence and Institute of National Security Studies was held at the Main Auditorium of the Faculty of Graduate Studies at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) on 17th May 2023. Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe, the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka graced the Conclave as the Chief Guest, and many renowned scholars in national security and geo politics as well as experts in prevention bribery and corruption in the public administration shared their thoughts at the Conclave based on its theme: “National Security Challenges in the 21st Century.”
Mr Sagala Ratnayake, the Chief of Staff and the Senior Advisor to the President on National Security, Hon. Justice Yasantha Kodagoda, General Shavendra Silva, the Chief of Defence Staff, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, the Commander of the Navy, Major General Milinda Peiris, Vice Chancellor of KDU, Deans and Directors of KDU, Military Officers and Cadet Officers of KDU participated in the Conclave with the other distinguished invitees.
