Commander of the Air Force visited General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 31st July 2023

Air Marshal RAUP Rajapaksa RSP and two Bars, VSV, USP, MSc (MOA) USA, MSc (Def Stu) in Mgt, MA in IS&S (UK), BSc (Def Stu), MIM (SL), AMIE (SL), rcds, psc the new Commander of the Air Force paid his first official visit to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 31^st July 2023. He was warmly welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil.

Air Marshal RAUP Rajapaksa was appointed as the 19^th Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force on 06^th July 2023, after being elevated to the rank of three-star Air Marshal, and KDU hails his accomplishment as the first KDU graduated officer to rise to the high office of a Commander of the Air Force in Sri Lanka.
