MOU signed between KDU and Aion Campus
General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) and Aion Campus, the premier Cybersecurity education provider in Sri Lanka, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 14th February 2024, to formalize and standardize the relationship for conducting the cybersecurity education and training programmes with the Faculty of Computing.
The purpose of this MOU is to define the general scope of the collaboration between the parties in establishing a joint cybersecurity faculty & industry collaboration with potential areas of cooperation including, but not limited to, Cybersecurity, Governance Risk & Compliance, Digital Forensics, Computer Networks, and Network Security.
The Vice Chancellor of KDU ,Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara, VSV, USP, psc, MMaritimePol, BSc (DS), Dean Faculty of Computing, Dr. Asela Gunasekara, Head of Entrepreneurial, Industrial Training and Career Guidance Unit, Dr. RMM Pradeep joined from KDU, and from Aion Campus Executive Director Mr. Chaminda Ranasinghe , Assistant Manager Business Development Mr. Vinuka Senadeera, Chief Growth Officer Mr. Sithira Dewasurendra and Head of Business Development (Corporate Sales) Ms. Vindhya Fernando joined the ceremony.
