The KDU CSSL Genz Chapter 4th AGM Event at UHKDU Auditorium
In the realm of technological advancement, fostering innovation and collaboration is paramount. Dr. Nirosha Wedasinghe, as Chapter Parent, and Ms. Pavithra Madushanka, Senior Treasurer, alongside the newly appointed KDU CSSL Genz Chapter executive committee of 2024, undertook a significant endeavor to organize an event aimed at catalyzing such progress. The venue chosen for this momentous occasion was none other than the prestigious UHKDU Auditorium, setting the stage for an impactful gathering of minds and ideas.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Rear Admiral Dammika Kumara VSV, USP, psc, MMaritimePol, BSc (DS), the Vice Chancellor of KDU, who presided as the Chief Guest. Also in attendance were Dr. Ajantha Atukorala, Rector of Metropolitan Campus-Colombo, President of CSSL, and Director of UCSC, along with distinguished guests such as Mr. Damith Hettihewa, Past President, Mr. Krishantha Silva, CSSL Manager Ms. Krishni Hewage,Dr. Amal Illesinghe as Secretary, Udesh I.W. Seneviratna as Assistant Secretary, Rasantha Hettithanthrige as Assistant Treasurer, and council members Ruvendra Gunasena, Chanaki Mallikarachchi, and Lakmal Embuldeniya, Staff and Student Members of KDU Rathmalana, Sooriyawewa and Metropolitan Campus, All the Past Chapter Presidents, Other GenZ Capter Representatives.
Acknowledgments and commendations were extended to the outgoing Chapter President, Induwara Rupasinghe, and his team for their dedicated service and contributions. Their efforts were instrumental in advancing the goals and objectives of the chapter during their tenure.
As the baton is passed to the newly appointed President, Chandra Prakash, and his team, the chapter looks forward to continued growth and success under their leadership. The AGM concluded with expressions of gratitude and best wishes for both the outgoing and incoming executive teams.
