Long Service Awards Ceremony – 2023

The Long Service Awards Ceremony – 2023 of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University was held on the 08th April 2024 concurrently with the KDU Cultural Day, 2024. Vice Chancellor of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara graced the occasion as the Chief Guest with other honoured invitees.

Members of the Administrative and Non Academic (Civil) Permanent Staff, who had completed 35, 30, 25 and 20 years of meritorious service at the University were honoured at the event. Awardees were given a medal, a certificate and cash prizes as tokens of appreciation of their valuable, dedicated, unblemished and continuous service to the University.
