We have an extraordinary achievement to celebrate! Officer Cadet PAGA Chathuranga from the Faculty of Medicine has shattered national records and demonstrated unparalleled strength. During the Inter-Faculty Powerlifting meet, Cadet Chathuranga surprised the audience by lifting an astounding 107kg under the 66kg junior weight category.

But that’s not all. This remarkable feat was witnessed by none other than the President, Secretary, and all referees of the Sri Lanka Powerlifting Federation. Cadet Chathuranga’s dedication, skill, and determination have not only brought pride to their institution but have also set a new standard in the realm of powerlifting.
