Visit to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University by Brigadier Michale Rosette, The Chief of Defence Force – Seychelles

Brigadier Michale Rosette, the chief of defence force of Seychelles visited  the  General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 15th  July 2024. The Chief of the defence force of Seychelles was warmly welcomed by the Vice Chancellor Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara VSV USP psc MMaritime Pol Bsc (DS). During the visit, Brigadier Michale Rosette discussed important issues concerning mutual interests in the defence and educational sectors. Brigadier Michale Rosette complimented KDU on its dedication to excellence in education and research in the defense sector and expressed gratitude for the cordial welcome he had received. Lunch at Walauwa marked the end of the visit.

The Vice-Chancellor presented him with a memento to commemorate his visit to KDU.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Defence and Administration), Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), and senior academic staff members were also present on the occasion.
