477th Committee of Vice Chancellors and Directors (CVCD) Meeting
The 477th meeting of the Committee of Vice Chancellors and Directors (CVCD) was held on the 2nd and 3rd of August, 2024, hosted by General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University at Laya Leisure, Kukuleganga.
Twenty Vice Chancellors and Rectors from state universities and campuses participated in this significant event. In the preceding evening, they arranged a dinner at the Lake Side, offering a pleasant opportunity for informal interactions.
The following day morning, the dignitaries participated in the CVCD meeting, where they engaged in discussions on pivotal issues concerning the higher education sector in Sri Lanka. To commemorate the occasion, mementos were presented to all participants, marking the conclusion of a successful and meaningful gathering.
