Visit of the Delegation from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces to KDU

The delegation from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces had a meeting with  the Vice Chancellor of KDU, Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara, VSV, USP, psc, MMaritimePol, BSc (DS), on 10^th September 2024. During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor discussed the possibility of strengthening relationships between KDU and the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. Further the Vice Chancellor highlighted the modern facilities available at KDU to enhance student learning.

Further more, Colonel General Vladimir Zarudnitsky Head of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome received and commented on KDU’s commitment to excellence in education and research for the defense sector following the meeting. The Vice Chancellor presented him with a thoughtful memento to commemorate his visit to KDU.
