Ceremonial Launch of the KDU Journal of Frontiers in Technology (KJFT) Marks a Milestone in Technological Research
The Faculty of Technology of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University celebrated a significant milestone on October 11, 2024, with the official launch of the KDU Journal of Frontiers in Technology (KJFT). The launch event was graced by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara, VSV, USP, psc, MMaritimePol, BSc (DS), who served as the Chief Guest and had the honor of formally unveiling the website of the journal. The ceremony, held in the university’s boardroom, gathered an esteemed audience that included the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), the Dean of the Faculty of Technology, faculty members, and enthusiastic students.
KJFT is set to be a biannual publication which seeks to provide a platform for research that bridges theoretical advancements and practical applications, especially in emerging fields such as Engineering, Biology, and ICT. Through this, it aims to contribute to the sustainable growth and innovation of technological practices in Sri Lanka and globally.
As KJFT embarks on its journey, the editorial team looks forward to receiving diverse research submissions and engaging the global research community. The journal will be available online, providing easy access to researchers, students, and professionals from around the world.
