LECTURE BY COMMODORE (RETD) MAHMAOOD UR REHMEN (PAKISTAN NAVY) AT KDU
On 5th January 2024, Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) hosted a lecture by Commodore (Retd) Mahmaood ur Rehmen of Pakistan Navy. Organized in collaboration with the High Commission of Pakistan, the session took place at the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) Auditorium from 1000 hrs to 1200 hrs and was attended by Officers, Faculty members, and 240 Officer Cadets.
Commodore Mahmood ur Rehman’s illustrious career spanning over 37 years in the Pakistan Navy is nothing short of inspiring. His vast experience, including commanding roles aboard various naval vessels and significant international postings, is a testament to his unparalleled dedication and leadership. During the session, he generously shared profound insights on Military decision making, leaving the audience not just informed but deeply motivated. The lecture concluded with an engaging Q&A session, further enriching the experience for participants.
The event strengthened ties between KDU and the High Commission of Pakistan while delivering an impactful learning opportunity for the cadets. KDU remains steadfast in hosting such engagements to enhance professional development and international cooperation, reinforcing its commitment to shaping future leaders.
