The All Island Bench Press Powerlifting Tournament 2025 was a spectacular display of strength and determination, with KDU athletes from various categories competing for the top spots. A New National Record Set
One of the most remarkable achievements of the tournament came from Day Scholar IDNSB Gunawardana, who shattered a national record in the 84+ kg weight category by lifting an impressive 62.5 kg. This outstanding feat set a new benchmark in the history of Sri Lankan bench press tournaments.
