The much-anticipated KDU Inter Faculty Football Tournament 2025 kicked off in grand style on the 26th and 27th of February 2025 at the KDU Ratmalana grounds. The tournament, marked by electrifying moments, fierce competition, and outstanding displays of talent, brought together the best footballers from all faculties, igniting a true spirit of sportsmanship and unity.
A total of 10 dynamic boys’ teams battled it out on the field, representing their respective faculties with pride and determination.

The much-awaited certificate, medal, and trophy awarding ceremony took place on the 5th of March 2025 at KDU Ratmalana, where the Vice Chancellor of KDU, Rear Admiral HGU Dhammika Kumara VSV USP psc MMaritimePol BSc (DS), honoured the winners by presenting them with their well-deserved awards and certificates. His presence added great prestige to the occasion.
