The KDU Library Launched Its Web Portal and Virtual Reading Rooms for the Faculties

The Vice Chancellor, Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil (Ind) formally launched KDU’s new Library website and Virtual Reading Rooms for all the faculties on 23^rd May, 2023. The event was held successfully in the Board Room of the Academic Building in the presence of all other distinguished guests, including Brigadier DCA Wickramasinghe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Defence & Administration), Prof. K.A.S. Dhammika, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Deans of the faculties, Directors, Adjutant and other senior officers, Librarian and Library staff.

The launch of the new library website and Virtual Reading Rooms represents a significant milestone in KDU’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art resources and facilitating a dynamic learning environment for its students, faculty, and researchers. These online accessible reading rooms facilitate information users with a one-stop facility where they can navigate through a plethora of information sources within their subject area.
